I am a certified veterinary technician working in the Oncology department at a university. I am responsible for assisting veterinary students that are rotating through the Oncology clerkship. This book is an excellent resource for anyone with an interest in Oncology, especially needing to learn about basic concepts and all of the options available for treatment of patients diagnosed with cancer. Although I have worked in the Oncology department for 4 years, I've felt that there were holes in my knowledge base that needed to be filled. This book does exactly that without getting too deep into very technical information, however it does list additional resources if you wish to study certain areas in more detail. The illustrations are very helpful also. I would highly recommend this book. It is worth every penny.
