I bought this as a gift for my grandparents. It's very soft, the sound is great, and it's adorable! I give it 4 stars because the beak got a little smushed in the plastic bag it came in and never quite straightened out all the way, but it's still cute, so I'm not too mad.My toddler LOVES birds. I bought her 2 birds from this company. The hummingbird and the cardinal. When the hummingbird came today, it was soft and snuggly (for a toddler) but it unfortunately did not sing.Why give it 5 stars, you ask?Because customer service did not hesitate to send a replacement AND they do not require that I return the one that doesn't work (I mean, not like they can sell it again anyways lol). Now, my daughter will have 2 hummingbirds to play with, among the 5 other birds I bought for her this week.Granddaughter loves movie Epic, was so happy with her own hummingbird-Our 5 year old Granddaughter is infatuated with Ruby Throated Hummingbirds. We looked all over for a stuffed toy Hummingbird that would be the smallest and most colorful bird we could find. Unfortunately there just isn't that many toy companies that make authentic looking Hummingbirds. Then I "Grandpa" decided to look on the internet, It didn't take long before I found this authentic stuffed Hummingbird that even makes the sound of a Hummingbird. I ordered it and we surprised our Granddaughter with it. She is so very happy with it and takes it with her everywhere to show it off. Naturally it goes into bed with her at night too! It's a nicely made toy and we would recommend it to anyone.My son just loves the collection of these birds. Carries them everywhere.It was cute but does not work tried pushing the button and won’t make soundsUsed for teaching my granddaughter about our backyard birds. She loves them and makes nests for them. I get most from our local nature center. What I don't like is there is no access to the sound box to change batteries so the sound doesn't last longI first bought my two grandsons one of these birds when we were on vacation at the beach. I happened to see them on Amazon when I was browsing the website and decided to get them each another one because they love these birds. They take them everywhere with them. The boys are ages 4&5. The only complaint I have is the blue bird stopped chirping which made my grandson very unhappy.
