My kids have used weighed blankets and stuffed animals for years. This year, I got myself a weighted blanket and cannot believe how much it helps me sleep. I swear it also helps muscle aches. I thought this plushie was so cute and saw in the reviews, other adults who were finding comfort in these Moon Pals. Purple is my favorite color, and the color of my weighted blanket, so I picked Opal.I haven't felt this excited about a stuffed animal since I was a kid. They are so cute, I love the moon and celestial designs, the weight is substantial, you really feel them. I love holding it and having the arms around me, it really feels like getting a firm hug! The input eases tension. The book is such a wonderful story with beautiful artwork, what a perfect bedtime story. Another favorite thing about these Moon Pals are the different textures. They are super soft all over, but the inside of their ears are my favorite. I love the coloring on them as well. (I was so in joy over mine, I ordered the blue one for my daughter. It's her new favorite friend.) The first night, I slept with Opal on top of me, and it was so soothing, it helped me fall asleep quicker. I do have to say that I was a bit bummed to find the poly-pellets in my bed the next day. Opal had a hole in her arm. Again, this was after having mine less than 24 hours, and with very gentle use. Thankfully, I contacted customer service and they were quite attentive, sending out a new friend right away. Based on my daughter's plush and use of it, and my replacement Moon Pal, I think I just ended up with a dud the first time. I would say I would probably not give this to a younger child, just in case (and due to its weight) or to someone who might eat the pellets. I'd also just do a quick look-over at the seams.Price-wise, this lines up with many of the other weighted plushies I've gotten before, and this is by far the cutest. With the book and its message, they make a really nice gift. My kiddo's eyes lit up seeing hers! It comes in a gift box too, ready for wrapping, which is a nice touch.I am an adult and I got this for myself! It’s so soft, with different textures, it has a solid construction and is super fluffy, and the weight is so nice and comforting. I do wish the body was weighted instead of just the extremities, maybe I’m the tummy — but it’s pretty much perfect just the way it is. ? It really reminds me of a C4re Be4r and are of similar quality. I truly feel like this is going to last for a veryong time! Also, cutest little cuddly baby out there!!It is amazing how grounding and comforting this little huggable friend is for someone who has PTSD and anxiety. It's a great size for an adult and the weight is really awesome. I did not realize how those weighted arms over your shoulders would make such a difference. Opal is really solid. Well built. I love the different tactile feels of the fur, the silkiness of the ears, the way the stitching on the paws/face/belly feel. Lots for the fingers to stroke and fidget with.The box and book are lovely and feel like you are opening something special. Yes, it's a little pricey, but I think it's totally worth it. I would buy another for myself or to give as a gift. Super cute and the first "stuffie" that can hug you back and really feel like someone's arms are around you.Get one. You will love it! Kids and adults. Everyone needs a hug!I hardly ever WRITE a review… but I am so in love with this. I have anxiety and ADHD, but the weighted blanket I have is just too much. I’ve always had a soft spot for stuffed animals… like I will buy my children squishmallows that I secretly love lol.That being said… the price is comparable to similar items I’ve looked into on Amazon… but pretty expensive in my opinion. I wanted to see this thing in person and figured I could return if it wasn’t what I was expecting.No way is this getting sent back! It’s way bigger than I thought it would be… kinda perfect size for me. I LOVED the packaging. It came is a nice box, and had the cutest book that reminded me of Care Bears! I can’t wait to read the book to my kids this evening and I suppose we will have to share this new friend!!Although this seemed pretty pricey for “ another stuffed animal “ I got it on a slight sale and it was a HIT ! Everyone including the dad held it and enjoyed the hugging sensation that it gives. It is soft and cuddly and feels like a real hug. Everyone loved it !I absolutely love my moon pal! The weight is perfect and it truly feels like a super cozy hug. It's very relaxing and helps me sleep wonderfully. I actually prefer it now over my weighted blanket! I'm so glad I decided to buy thisRelaxingI ordered two for my twin sons, but unfortunately one arrived damaged. The one that wasn’t damaged is amazing. Would recommend
